See you are a fellow Canadian! I am using the Digitech Vocalist 4 which has been replaced by the Vocalist 5. When I did my initial digging on harmonizers I thought I would like the then current TC Helicon Voice Live 2. That decision was based on Helicon's reputation. I was hoping to rent one because I wasn't keen on spending $1200 without thoroughly checking it out. Long and McQuade didn't have one so I rented the Digitech V4. Eventually they loaned me a Voice Live 2 overnight. Still had the Digitech which I was pretty impressed with. Was able to compare them side by side and for me the Digitech was a far better choice. I was able to get it for $400. I therefore saved $800 and ended up with the best sound. I would put my Digitech up against anything TC has to offer.
