I don't know much about using footswitches, etc. I managed to memorize everything I do, so my only needs in a tablet would be to store my music as PDF's and pull up songs when I need to brush up on them (Oktoberfest, Bastille Day, etc) and a vertical screen large enough so I don't have to put on my eyeglasses!

I suppose that at the rate at which technology is moving, something like that, at a reasonable price, will be available by Wednesday....well.......maybe Saturday at the latest!
