not unless its one of my DJ dance gigs where I need to push air for that thump!....dont let the size fool you,
I had my doubts thinking opld school speakers, but its a new day in speaker design technology, ..amazingly these DXR8's have a terrific low end, I knew they would be good just by the weight, just what I need for my small to med gigs. I actually A/B'd them with the QSC's in the store at performance volume and I have to say it was a tie..nice tight clear pure sound wow!

Don I've had my DXR12's for almost a year so yes I'm having a love affair with the DXR series.....
man I'm totally Yamaha at this point...carry on!
