I have the Motif XS and the Karma software.

it gives the keyboard alot more functionality similar to arranger spec...

it gives 8 style parts, fills, ends, intros and more - it is far more sophisticated than the original 4 arp patterns that come on board the motif out of the box...

BUT firstly - I think the karma software ONLY works with the Motif XF and Motif XS.. not sure if it works with the MO series... might want to check this??

to use the karma software it requires a complete factory wipe and restore to the karma engine and custom sounds and drum kits and arps... once you have installed Karma. it basically transforms your motif into something different. all the drum kits are mapped to their own folders and if they are moved it confuses the pre made patterns.

I basically installed it, had a play around with the pre made styles for a day and then restored my motif back to my original settings and have never used the karma software again... Maybe I needed more time but it is quite confusing to get your head around. a video tutorial from Karma would be good...

I think it would be better to have 2 Motif keyboards.. one for Karma and one for the actual synthesizer you would want to customise...
