Everyone wants to know how 2.6 in. of snow can paralyze an entire city and surrounds; just a flukey combination of extremely cold weather and the city's general unpreparedness for this type of thing. We only get snow on average 1 day per thousand, so it's difficult to justify the expense of maintaining a lot of snowplows, salt, and sand. Of course, down here we just blame Obama; we all know he controls the weather .

I actually live in the northern suburbs of Atlanta, but we were just as hard hit. Luckily for me, I had no need or reason to venture out into it. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 60's. You guys stay warm up there in the frozen north and by all means, drive safely.
