BTW, a general question: if an active speaker starts to distort at higher volumes, is it generally due to the amplifier or more to the membranes? Genelec has just released a model which is exactly like the one before,same-size woofer/tweeter etc., but with a much more powerful class D amplifier. Can I expect it to bear slightly higher volumes without distorting? Thanks for your opinion.
