Hey Don, I'm on the fence. I have the PA900 coming. I want to add variety to my show and thought about adding the BK module and midi through my 900. I also need to find more on the iPad (since I have one) capabilities.

Just used the BK7M Midied to a 61 note controller. Worked great, great sound. Should work fine with your Yamaha.
