Speaking for myself, it took me about a year before I was able to sing while playing (accordion). Then another year, before I was able to put in �fills� and do good �backing arrangements� on the spot. Than another year to learn to play an arranger�..horizontal keyboard and left hand chord formation! Also another year before I could sing comfortably with it. Then an additional year to learn the piano (the horizontal keyboard and putting two hands together was confusing for me).

I was always a good musician, but...a SLOW learner! I�m wondering how many of you had the same problems with singing and playing at the same time? Or switching keyboard instruments?
