Greetings to all of my Synthzone friends and acquaintances.

Back when I was a wee lad of about four years of age my mom brought home a record called "The Stonemans' Country". Apparently I fell in love with this record (I don't really remember), and made whichever adult was around play it for me again and again - and - again . . . crazy "Bottle of Wine" was one of my favourite cuts off the record, and was also the first song I ever remember singing. I drove everyone crazy with that , too! wink

The song uses a style called CountryStrum, two different types of vocal harmony and the clarinet part was played on my EWIUSB MIDI wind controller with a VST called WIVI Band. The song was done on my trusty PSR-3000 and multitracked with a DAW package called Reaper. Enough boring minutia. sleep I present to you my version of "Bottle of Wine". I hope you will have a listen. smile

P.S. My apologies to fans of the Tom Paxton or Fireballs version. The Stoneman's version is a little different in that a couple chords are different, and most notably the lyrics are different. I went with The Stonemans' version mainly because I was four at the time. laugh

Thanks for listening,
Dan
