Tony, until I took the equipment down to South Florida on my boat, I didn't think it would survive the climate changes, but I was wrong - the keyboard, amp and other electronics fared much better than the keyboard stand and seat, both of which are made of welded steel. Nothing could be worse than the harshness of the marine environment - nothing. After six months at sea, I opened the keyboard and it was clean as a whistle. No corrosion anywhere. These keyboards are built to withstand much more than anyone could anticipate.
Since the trip, with a 7-day a week work schedule, the equipment rarely comes out of the van. And, I think because everything is in high-quality cases, that provides a bit of added protection.
