When a 'big star' does something like this at a concert the audience generally eats it up
Since I'm already a 'BIG star' at least to 'my' local fan base
I'm pretty confident they'd 'eat it up' hearing the original hit singer's voice for at least a few bars like in "I Left My Heart in San Francisco".
For other tunes, I might utilize a 'signature 'vocal rift' hook line,
but either way, adding vocal audio triggered by the multipad buttons is no different than the instrumental rifts we already utilize in our arranger keyboard playing
and if limited to a song or two, can bring variety & spice to a show. - Scott
