I ask because a customer of ours had a Tyros 3 and couldn't use bass pedals to 'kick' the chords (as the guitarists say), so he ended up using an older Ketron X4 module and routed the signal from the midi bass pedals to that unit then from MIDI OUT, went into the Tyros 3's Midi in - and now he has the best of both worlds!
