Good forthright review Deane...many arranger players use the instruments exactly as you do, and will be interested in how "user-friendly" the BK-9 is, as well as the availability of useful styles and overall out-of-the-box sound.

I also appreciate your unbiased attitude (something I don't have being a dyed-in-the-wool Yamaha fan)...very refreshing.
