Hopefully, Yamaha drop the audio drums, or go the whole hog and use them for EVERYTHING. And include easy User creation/import of new ones. Anything less is a waste of R&D time, IMHO.

Far better would be a whole slew of brand new drumkits, so not only the new styles sound better, but all your existing ones can use the improved kits too.
