They are clearly "eliminating" your position.How have you been paid- cash, check, sacramental wine? I 'm sure they are a non-profit or not-for-profit organization and don't pay taxes. I would be surprised, if it's not required, that they pay unemployment tax to the state/federal government. If not, they can't pay toward an unemployment claim.
