Hi MattyB

Like all organs (Electone is just Yamahas name for organ) they are designed to be played, therefore the easy play automatics (Styles etc.) are usually less sophisticated than on most arrangers, however because of this you do not get the repetitive and boring backings like you do on an arranger, as you are playing more of the backing band yourself. (Better use of split points can also be made)

If you jump on an organ and play it like an arranger then you will be disappointed, however if you adapt you’re playing style to suit the organ than it will give you a greater satisfaction then any arranger on its own can provide. (This is why a lot of arranger players these days add a second keyboard, volume pedal and Pedal Board to their instruments so as to get away from having to play along to a boring and repetitive style)

Whether it will suit you or not only you can decide, but it is always worth giving it a go.

Hope this helps

Bill
