Was told that this is a common thing in this part of the world and that I should NEVER leave the compound by myself.
Think I'll continue to go back, but will be way more careful than I have been.

Don is certainly right about knives...not cut resistant at all.
If you go back perhaps you should wear one of these - a bullet proof suit, AND it looks really DAPPER !!!
