Tony, it's funny that you mentioned her voice sounds a bit more nasaly. We were listening to the her studio version of this song and my wife made your same obsevation. Maybe she was going for a diffenent vocal sound on this cut?

Gary and Russ, my experiance is that bossa nova is for the cocktail/dinner hour. Not for dancers. Too bad...
For my NH jobs the only bossa I do is Girl From Ipamnema, sometimes I do a little medly with "So Nice" or "Desafinado".
Of course any of the old standards like "The Way You Look Tonight" work well as bossas.

Don, if you have time could you post an example of the Korg Bossa Nova with brushes? Nothing fancy, just some LH chords or the beat by it self... Thanks!
