I like the idea of an emulator, especially now that I've found my piece of paper showing jumper settings on the floppy drive but regrettably it doesn't tell me the model number!
The TEAC FD235HF drive has a limited set of confiuration jumpers (http://matthieu.benoit.free.fr/pdf/FD235HFA5XX%20(Rev%20B).pdf) but I can't say whether these are sufficient to do the job, sorry!
