To me just playing midi, doesn't always sound real, if you know what I mean. It depends if you can make it work for you, thats fine.


I play an acoustic accordion with midi, I only use midi on my LH

with pure accordion sounds on my RH miked-up as a normal setup.

If done properly it can sound like an accordionist with a 3 or 4

piece backing band. I do edit my styles to the bare bones

taking away as much "syrupy" stuff as possible.
