Hi all.
OFF but ON topic.
I know what you mean, but it amazes me a lot that they who don't like to hear or read some words named as "curse or swear words" always have to tell everyone else to behave like they want it to be, and have no "mercy" to those of us who sometimes happen to read those words at high volume.
If I say "what in the pink woods" it might sound better, but what I mean by it could be the same or worse as if I said %¤%-*£@.
To me it seems like it's a kind of 'if those who are deep into the holy books' have problems to tolerate those who are less into it, how can one expect any respect the other way?
That said, here in Scandinavia we are used to that many of the people in Finland say "Satana Perkele" and more. Especially at the early 60ies when TV got more common, there was "Finnish TV Theathre" once a week, oh me and my, that made really big eyes and ears at young ones.... a lot of swearing, sauna and nudity.
To be honest, the words spoken by our Finnish friend do not make his performances less talented to me, he is a great singer and a good entertainer.
Heia Finland!

Cheers
GJ
