One of the best piano sounds I've heard is from truepianos.com I'm wondering if this can be taken and made into samples that would work on a T4 or Korg.

I've heard of software samplers. Are they as good as the others?

Could one take Truepianos and do what I'm talking about? Easy or hard to do? Would it sound as good as the original if so?

The thing I've noticed about so many samples is when you get about an octave above middle C the notes start sounding kind of "tinky".

I know that morphing was used on Truepianos and I'm sure it's used on others to make it sound more real.

I'd like to hear a discussion on this that a novice would understand if possible.
