Godin is the cool little secret for lots of players. I have a fretless bass, a nylon string Multiac, Two new jazz models (single and two pick-ups)and one or two others. They're made in Canada. There are lots of sub-brands owned by the same outfit.

Rory is currently playing one of the same double pick-up ones I play (it';s called a Kingpin). It's very close to an ES 175 at about 1/3rd of the price.

Only thing is-they don't gain in value. But at the price point they sell at, there is no question that they are a bargain.

If you saw the Tony Bennett special recently, his guitar player uses a Kingpin...the same on Rory and I have.

Congratulations on your purchase, Mikey. Heal up, and we'll get together to play guitar someday.
