I'm not "putting it down" Don...I'm merely discussing it's good and bad points just like the rest here. My posts are always within forum guidelines, and if they don't interest you, just skip over.

I have no need to promote Yamaha, and do it no more than you promote the instruments that you use. I love the Tyros4, not because it's a Yamaha, but because it's an awesome arranger...the best, for my needs. I make no apologies for stating what I use and why. Neither should you.

Cold winter, yes, but lots of things to do indoors...remember them?

Visiting SZ discussions is also a nice pastime, and often very amusing.

I'm actually thinking about getting one of those little mini Korgs. If it ran on batteries I would for sure. I would like to be able to carry it into the main dining room where I work and play Happy Birthday at some of the tables. Sometimes I do that with a guitar. My "real" gear is all set up in the Club Room. Problem is I have to hide the guitar or everyone who ever knew a chord wants to take it and sit in.
I caught a disease in Calgary one time, but I don't hold it against you. smile
Speaking of cold winter, I played golf today and had to take off my sweater. Temp reached mid 60's. I really wish I could play in the snow at least once a year though.
