Bill...thanks so much for posting this. By coincidence, I was looking at my Sound of Music disc last week to listen to the Edelweiss track when I noticed the version on the disc was done by a gentleman named Daryl Dragon (w/Julie Andrews).

I then went to one of the "shareware" mp3 sites and listened to tracks with Christopher Plummers name attached to them. I noticed they removed the "measures" where he choked up on the words and brought Julie Andrews prematurely.

Is there the original version of Christopher Plummer singing it (where he "chokes" on the words)? I don't have high speed so the link you referenced didn't complete for me. Is the version on that site?

Edelweiss is one of my most requested songs...and one of my most favorites!
