For instance, when the PA1X/PRO came out Korg gushed praise on it and also provided scads of "professionally" produced demos for the public to listen to. Same thing with the PA2XPRO. But Korg has really dropped the ball with the PA3X/PRO in my opinion. My question is why do you think that is?
There wasn't a Kronos when the PA1xPro was released

The Kronos was THE star as far as Korg goes. The demo guy apparently only got the PA3x the day before NAMM started...He is usually a very good demonstrator.
I don't think it was specifically because of the T4 showing, but that was perhaps one of the catalysts for Korg.
I tend to think it was more of a "hold up a second" from Korg Italy to Korg USA, who, imo, had no intention of having at their stand. Mainly for possible T4 buyers, to announce that a new Korg was coming, and to not jump in and buy the Yamaha.
