I'm about to buy the TC Helicon Quintet because me internal vocalizer is screwing up again. I've had it replace a few times, and it always goes back to similar problems.

Voices not coming in properly, they sound REALLY trebly for no reason...Sometime the gain just stops completely and I'm left with no mic.

so I give up. It'd be too much to keep replacing it.

SOOO....

People here already said they generally use external vocalizers for the better quality anyway.

My big concern is this:

When I hook up the new vocalizer, am I going to have any problems with the transpose issue?

You know, for some songs it globally transposes them automatically on the inboard one. Is that going to be the same?

What about songs that I have the individual vocalizer track -3 ?

Will this "play" them minus 3 or will it only read the actual notes on the track and ignore the transpose?

Do you see? I'm worried I'm going to have a big headache.

I'm praying that whatever comes out of the onboard vocalizer will transfer over identically to the quintet, but am I wrong?

*cringes waiting for response*
