I think it would be a real cool partner to the 12 lb Yamaha NP-30...even if to provide mainly basic accompaniment for the piano player who might want to play a few dance tunes, or some swing tunes or Jazz Ballads with neat drums and walking bass...and Latin tunes would be really enhanced.

As far as extra wires, it would be just one midi cable, and a pair of audio cables...plus the AC adaptor, of course.

I think the toughest issue would be where to place the module so the buttons are easily accessible.
