I have some 6M of sampleing,guitar riffs,back vocals...and I'm playing everynight at least 4 hours.I have no problem at all with loaded sounds.I made a power on loading patch,(check manual pg.33/34) it takes almost 2 min and it's running smooth day after day.Even if all of the sounds I'm using are 22,000khz, there's no problem for the keyboard to read and play them.
Maybe you should reload OS (4.0c.?),
and check the HDD.
