It all depends on what you prefer, drawbars or a hernia. I have the PK7a pedals and they weigh more than my C1 (by a pound). Who heads up Roland's keyboard design team, Arnold Schwarzenegger? Also, we don't know what it sounds like. I was interested in the VR-700 Combo (which also has drawbars) until I heard the organ voices. Lame. It looks like a nice instrument and I wouldn't kick it out of bed (so to speak) but if I needed a single instrument for full time gigging as AN ORGAN TRIO, I'd pick the C1, despite it's perceived shortcomings. If I were doing Pop and needed more instrumentation (voices), then I'd consider this unit. It's not a question of which is the better instrument, but of which one MEETS YOUR NEEDS (remember, Donny?).
