That is the style we were taught in our music lessons back in the 30's when we ALL played like that. How many of you remember the big ETUDE music magazines that our teachers got and taught us out of. They often had duets that the teacher would play with us. In those days we didn't get a new song every week either. We stayed with the same song until we could play it perfect. Most of it was classical music too and tough stuff for us kids but we did learn.
