Try Audacity its free and every bit as powerful as many expensive packages
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Version 1.3.12 beta it is a beta version but no problems up to now.
I record to MP3 files direct from Pa2x then import into Audacity and edit as much as you want then save as MP3 file. You can if you wish load any MP3 file add extra tracks and re-save.
