So you will say your Audya rocks the socks off of your T3?

What I will say is this:

If all Yamaha T3 owners were to try out/ gig the Audya
1 night.
More than 50% would switch

If all Audya owners were to do same with YamahaT3,
I doubt anyone would switch, Ok maybe. 1%.

Not a believer? Try and see...I did

I’m not sure I agree at all. The Audya is the best sounding arranger keyboard, no doubt about it, but the Yamaha keybords have got the worlds best operating systems, and quite seriously I find the one in Audya ridiculously bad.

Being a former Yamaha Tyros 2 player, the transition to Audya has been nothing short of a nightmare. An example is the registration system – what would require ten different buttons presses on the Audya can be programmed to only ONE button press on a Yamaha keybord! How am I supposed to press 10 different buttons in the same time while playing?

My point is, it does not help much with great sounds if it’s not possible to operate the machine properly. Add to this the general unstableness of the entire board, its still full of errors.

But hey, maybe I just belong to that 1% who is inclined to throw the damn thing in the dumpster and go buy a Tyros 3 instead. It may not sound nearly as good but at least the s… works.
