Thanx for the replies. But, I can assure you like all Tyros owners I have checked out all cases sizes, dimensions, weight, etc.
The hardshell Tyros case is way too big. I don't need storage for the satellite speakers which I don't have. I sure don't want a case that weighs more than my keyboard. I don't want to be lugging around 70 lbs when I have no need for an ATA case.
The zipper broke on my Kaces case. An ideal case. I just ordered a replacement and would you believe they changed the specs?
The only other case I've seen that I would like to own is the one from Oostendorp in the Netherlands. But not for almost $500 shipped. But still nice for about 13 lbs.
I want it short, light and to be able to load a few things on top of it when transporting. Plus have some rigidity for safety.
I was really hoping there might be someone here that has worked with wood enough that could actually answer the question I posed as to whether it's possible this case would weigh between 10-12 lbs being made of 1/4" plywood and if it looked like it would take care of my needs as listed
