What you play ON is probably the least important thing for a musician to worry about. HOW WELL you play should probably be #1. WHAT you play maybe #2. WHO you play with, maybe #3 (for me, it's higher).

But the gear... We've all seen amazing players playing in amazing bands on really crappy gear. And it made our jaws drop..!

Start to think like that, and the postman coming to the door won't excite you in the least...
