I wear ITE hearing aids every waking moment. On James test, using a headset, I hear nothing with or without my aids.

Without my aids I could hear only the 500Hz tone.
With my aids I could hear all but the 8000Hz.

While working on gigs, I HAVE to wear my hearing aids. Without them I do not hear any highs. I know others on the forum here who take their out while working. My audiologist says hearing impairments are very individualized. One solution does not fit all. It took several months tweaking at the audiologit's before I felt I was getting maximum benefit from my aids.
