Gary Diamond and I are friends. We talk on the phone frequently about music and many other things as well...
Its been enjoyable getting to know each other.
I know Gary has stated numerous times that he prefers Nursing Home work over that in Clubs. Its more profitable, less headaches, etc.
Are we really now at a point where if I say "Gary Diamond doesn't like to work in clubs" I've gone over some imaginary line and actually insulted him? Have I assumed that when he said/wrote that he didn't mean for all time?
If that's really where we are now, then a whole new ridiculous standard has come to be.
I've called out Diki many times in the past but I'm sorry-He's not deserving of the criticism that a few are directing at him. We've all seen Diki be rude in the past, and this isn't in the same stratosphere.
If you disagree with his assertions, then fine...just say so. But it doesn't mean he's taken some way over the top shot at anyone. He voiced an opinion...you disagreed. Fine, no big deal...
I think the drama is unnecessary...
