I have a friend who told me that he hated the XP50 (which I used to own) in comparison to the XP60 (which I now have) which he loved because he said it has a warmer, more natural sound. This guy doesn't have a solid background in ear training, but am I the only guy who doesn't really hear a major difference?

Also, he said that he loved the JV2080 as opposed to the JV1080 and 1010. He also said he thinks the XP30 and 50 suck in sound when compared to the XP60 and 80. Is it me?, or do you think this guy WARMED UP to the larger graphic display.

Lastly, if anything, I would say maybe the 1080 and XP50 are better. Their D/A convertors are 16 bit. This hides the grunge/decay effect. Also the JV1080 has that PCM slot.
