What impressed me about the Logiech Z-2300 was the quality...both in how they are mnade, and the sound.
I was hesitant buying them, but once I heard the quality of the sound, and the nice oomph they had, I was sold.
A buddy of mine has the Z-5500, and they are awesome...he uses them (at home) on a Tyros3, along with a Yamaha Stagepas 500...definitely an astonishing sound, but overkill for my simple needs.
I think the Z-2300 would work very well at a nursing home gig, if you had stands for the satellite speakers.
That's too bad about the Podiums and the mixer...I've never seen Podiums, let alone played through them...Fran thinks they are super.
