You raise a very valid point.

Whats nice about the Triton is that every slot is USER WRITEABLE. Every one. Any sound you create can be stored in memory. You can set the board up just the way you want it.

Not only that, but one of the expansions is an actual different synthesizer, with it's own style of sounds. IT's the MOSS synth.

Add in the a full sampler, and you have a board that has a very, very, very wide sound field.


The 5080 is nice, but sort of limited.
