I just got back from the shop after playing the XV3080. It certainly sounds better than any of the older JV or XP units- even the JV factory presets! The pianos are miles ahead of anything in the JV's as are the strings, drums, guitars, choirs and brass- OK pretty much everything.

I'm really impressed with the new range and for me I have not owned a JV2080 so the smaller screen doesn't bother me personally as I'm used to the JV1080 interface.

I will be very interested to see what Roland come out with in the new expansion board range.

Anyway, I can't wait until I've finally paid the unit off and it's sitting in my rack!!!!!
