Sounds like you made a great decision! The Bose is a great tool for the smaller jobs and as you said, the clarity is great.

Randy that is excactly what I do many times on my med to large venues..I chain my powered 15"
Mackie Tapco Thump(s)and it adds a super bottom end when kept on the floor...allowing the high Bose speakers on the pole sear out over the audience with a very wide dispersion..sounds great!
