Hi Ian,
that's great. It's good to hear your S910 is awesome.

Thank you so much for your style & demo.
I hadn't come across it before.

I know the Ethereal Ballad, such an interesting concept. 32 bars of basically pads except for variation 3 which has that great harp ? sequence or would you call it a riff? running thruought. I get confused with some of the terminology, riffs, arpeggio's etc I've been trying to find some more of those type sequences to create multi pads from to give variety to the style.

I actually did a style called Space based on the concept for my Korg. Mix of psr & biab tracks. BIAB has a similar type of style ( the sequence is different & I've used it instead of Ethereal sequence.) The BIAB guys did this great demo called Neptune, space style works really well with it.
I luv space type soundtracks, bit of a scifi nut. haahaa.

best wishes
Rikki

I did a style for the S900/T2/T3 called Freestyle and it is good for soundtracks...it has no percussion, and you can basically play any tempo (or play rubato) ...it is similar to Ethereal Ballad on the Tyros3, although I had made this one a few months before the T3 was even out.

Here is the style, in a zipped folder that includes an MP3 and a MIDI demo to give you an idea how it sounds...it should work on your PSR-1500 as it contains no Mega voices...it works on the 3K, I'm told.

Variation "C" is the one I use the most and what I used to make the simple demo, which is just played and recorded with one take.

I posted it a while ago on SZ, so you may already have it.

I think the S910 is a keeper.

Ian
