Man..., you guys read way too much into things. Diki wasn't talking about the drums for this style needing to sound live.

If you noticed Diki "started another paragraph" and pointed out an issue he has with arranger demos on YouTube IN GENERAL. This issue has been brought up by him in the past and he just made note of it again.

I think Diki obviously knows drums in this style don't sound live. He's right too.., they are pushed way back in the mix. For those of you who DON'T play this style music.., the DRUMS and BEAT are essential and SHOULD stand out.
