My wife got me a cannon FS100 for my birthday and I love it. It only weighs about 9oz. with battery installed and with a 4 GB sd card you get 1.5 hours of taping and that is the same time as the battery with a full charge. I've taped 4 of princess's gigs and the sound quality is just great with the built in mics. but the camera also has a jack for another mic. if wanted. It also has auto stabilization that really works great but when doing a show or tutorial using a tripod with the camera's small and handy remote control works beautifully. It has very nice software with the camera, video and audio editing.
