The WORST cables I ever bought were Fender.
I bought four of them a couple of years ago and not one of them lasted more than two months. I'm pretty careful with cables, and have some that have lasted for years.
Never have bought high-end ones like Monster though, so I can't comment other than to say that they cost an awful lot.
