Yes I'm inclined to agree with the Fran. I have an XP60 but I did test the XP30 before I bought this and it was the toughest decision.

The XP30 is designed and more of a control synth than the XP60/80 so it relies on an external sequencer. That's it's only shortcoming and as far as the onboard sounds are concerned I doubt you'll get better value for money anywhere.

This is a proffesional and contempory peice of kit plus all synths have learning curves. Enjoy what you already own and don't go back to square one buying a different synth. The Possibilities are infinite.
