I have the XK3C in my den and also have an Electro and a C-1.

The Hammond is great, and PRETTY!. The C-1 is a lightweight workhorse. The Electro is the ideal 2nd keyboard to use with an arranger...I put it on my right hand.

I'd worry about taking even the top board off the Hammond to gig with. It would be easy to damage the wood. I have a lightly used XB-2 with scars. And it's heavier than the Electro and about the same as the 2 keyboards on the C-1.

Great features on all three. Fine keyboards, for sure. I enjoy the Hammond at home, the Electro to add flavor to an arranger performance or for use in my trio when I do keys and guitar. The C-1 is my "go to" instrument when "balls to the wall" walking left-hand" is called for on one-nighters.

No "hands down" favorite here, for me, at least.
