The only problem I have with pedal acctivated bending is that you have to choose between bending UP or DOWN... you can't do both. I know guitars can only finger bend up, but forstly, whammy bars can bend down, and then a LOT of guitarists bend up FIRST, then hit the note and bend back down - a technique few keyboard players use...
