I kept my G1000 for about ten years, kept it pristine, and got over half of what I payed for it back when I sold it. Not too shabby

The trick is to not buy a POS that will lose it's value that much the instant even an incremental change model comes out

Choose wisely, and after a few generations, people come to realize which WERE the better keyboards of their day... I might not have got as much for the G1000 the day the VA7 came out. But after a few years of realizing that newer isn't NECESSARILY better, I think it's a lot easier to get good value for a G1000 now.
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if this happens for my G70 as well.
